This year’s Run United effort will take place virtually, with funds addressing the digital divide in our community. Anyone can participate, as runners will amass 26.2 miles throughout the month rather than at one time. Announce your participation or cheer on a participant on social media.
Join us at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, for our State of United Way Virtual Town Hall. Our President and CEO Dr. Darienne Hudson will sit down with WXYZ-TV news anchor Carolyn Clifford for an important discussion. They’ll touch on the events of the past year, including the heartbreaking struggles that COVID-19 has caused in our community. They’ll also discuss how, with your help, we can continue to address the immediate needs of the community while creating long-term change.
