Hardship
Assistance Program
Give today to support the WRC Hardship Assistance Program, created by Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner Jim Nash in partnership with United Way for Southeastern Michigan. Your donation helps make water and sewer bills more affordable by covering costs for current or past due bills, as well as household plumbing repairs needed to prevent or repair leaks and water loss. This program is now available for Oakland County residents who are experiencing a hardship. Hardships covered by this program may include:
Temporary unemployment due to unexpected job loss.
Significant reduction in household income due to unexpected underemployment, including reduction of hours, pay or benefits.
Medical or health care expenses due to accident or injury of household member(s).
Divorce or domestic abuse.
Change in household size, including death, birth, adoption or fostering of household member(s).
Thank you for your interest in donating! It makes a difference for Oakland County residents.
