When did you first start supporting United Way? Why did you join EP?

I first started supporting United Way in 2012 when initially joining the Tocqueville Society Initiative as a co-chair of its Emerging Philanthropists sector. I joined EP because the program allows me to cultivate personal, professional and philanthropic networks in one place, all while supporting United Way through donation and volunteerism. For me, it’s the perfect way to give back

What was your first job?

My first job was having a paper route from ages 9 to 14

What is your favorite pastime / hobby?

My favorite hobby is woodworking

Who inspires you?

I’m inspired by anyone that survives and thrives in the face of adversity!

What book have you read more than once? Who is your favorite author?

My favorite author is Howard Zinn, I’ve read a number of his books multiple times – “You Can’t be Neutral on a Moving Train” and “A Power Governments Cannot Suppress” to name a couple
