Join us to celebrate a decade of impact at the tenth annual Women of Influence Summit, set for Friday, March 13, at an exciting new venue — Ford Field!
Each year, this event celebrates International Women’s Day and raises funds for early childhood education. Hosted by United Way for Southeastern Michigan’s Women United philanthropic group, the summit has raised more than $2 million to support children, families and caregivers in our community since its inception.
This event has showcased many local and national women of influence, including keynote speakers such as:
- Sonia Manzano, Maria on Sesame Street
- Susan L. Taylor, Former Editor of Essence Magazine
- Jacqueline Woodson, American writer
- Andrea Davis Pinkney, Author and VP at Scholastic Books
- Donna Orender, former WNBA president
