The Renaissance
We’re excited to visit a new venue for the 11th annual Women of Influence Summit! Save the date to join us Friday, March 12, at the Renaissance Center in Detroit!
Each year, this event celebrates International Women’s Day and raises funds for early childhood education. Hosted by United Way for Southeastern Michigan’s Women United philanthropic group, the summit has raised more than $2.5 million to support children, families and caregivers in our community since its inception.
This event has featured local and national women of influence, including Sonia Manzano (”Maria” on Sesame Street), former Essence Magazine Editor Susan L. Taylor, American writer Jacqueline Woodson, Scholastic Books author and VP Andrea Davis Pinkney and former WNBA President Donna Orender.
