DTE Appliance Recycling Program
Recycle your appliances and get a rebate that you can donate to United Way.
When you recycle your old, inefficient appliances through the DTE Appliance Recycling Program, you can donate your rebate to United Way! The program provides customers with rebates and free in-home pickup for the following types of appliances:
- Refrigerators (small and large)
- Freezers (small and large)
- Room air conditioners
- Dehumidifiers
When you make your appointment, you can choose to donate your rebate to United Way. Click here to schedule an appointment for DTE to pick up your old appliance today. Or, dial 1-866-796-0512, select option 1, then select option 1 again. Must be a DTE electric customer to participate.
