United Way for Southeastern Michigan Honors Suzanne Shank As 2025 Woman of Influence

Shank to be Recognized for Her Groundbreaking Leadership in Finance and Lifelong Commitment to Community Empowerment

DETROIT, MI DETROIT, MI – (March 11, 2025) — United Way for Southeastern Michigan is excited to recognize Suzanne Shank, President and CEO of Siebert Williams Shank & Co., LLC, as the 2025 Woman of Influence. Known for her incredible career in finance and her dedication to giving back, Shank will be honored at the 2025 Women of Influence Summit, presented by Walker-Miller Energy Services. The Summit is set for Friday, March 14, 2025, at MotorCity Casino.

In 2024, Shank served as Chair of the Mackinac Policy Conference, where she led conversations on key issues impacting Michigan’s future, including economic growth, equity, and innovation. Under her leadership at Siebert Williams Shank & Co., LLC, the firm has become one of the nation’s top-ranked investment banking firms, serving Fortune 500 companies and municipalities nationwide. Shank has received numerous accolades from Forbes and Crain’s Detroit Business and serves on several prominent boards, including Rocket Companies, Consumers Energy, and the Skillman Foundation.

The event will also honor Senator Debbie Stabenow with a Lifetime Achievement Award for her lifelong service and advocacy. Attendees will hear from keynote speaker Donna Orender, former WNBA President, PGA Tour executive, and bestselling author of Wowsdom! The Girl’s Guide to the Positive and the Possible. Known for her inspiring stories, Orender’s message focuses on leadership, resilience, and breaking barriers for women.
