Experience Cornhole

This Oct. 1, community leaders and friends gathered for fun, food and friendly competition at the Emerging Philanthropist’s 2026 Cornhole Tournament. While enjoying raffles and a stadium-style buffet, guests raised over $17,000 to support United Way for Southeastern Michigan’s 2-1-1 helpline— a lifeline which has connected 111,878 community members with 212,543 life-changing services this year alone.

This impact was made possible by the generosity of our sponsors: Adams Outdoor Advertising, Bank of Ann Arbor, Golden Limousine International, Hylant, Invenergy, ITC Holdings, Kelly, LaFontaine Kia of Ypsilanti, LiUNA Local 499, Megan Mazurek of Reinhart Realtors, Plante Moran, Pure Energy Roofing, Retirement Income Solutions, University of Michigan Credit Union and Washtenaw Community College.

Congratulations to Eastern Michigan University basketball players, Kaden Johnson and Max Booher, who claimed the first-place trophy in this year’s Cornhole Tournament as the “EMU Eagles”.
