Help flood victims in Southwest Detroit
More than 400 households in Southwest Detroit have recently been impacted by flooding. Volunteers are needed to help perform wellness visits, organize donations and assemble and deliver care packages.

Every day, United Way for Southeastern Michigan drives change, Lighting The Way to a brighter future for families in Macomb, Oakland, Washtenaw and Wayne counties. Several community impact opportunities throughout the year make it all possible, bringing in contributions that help us continue to address our community’s top needs.
As a United Way sponsor, your company will receive recognition at public and private events, and in special publications. Better yet, you’ll help us fund vital programs that help households reach stability and help children thrive.
“It’s a win-win. It gets me outside of my four walls. It’s a stress reliever, and it allows me to help others. I don’t often feel like I can effect a lot of change on my own, but when working with United Way – an organization that I trust – I can have a bigger impact.” – Richard Glover, Kelly Services
“We are looking forward to connecting the dots between our long-running annual campaign with United Way and our meaningful work to make OneMagnify a more inclusive workplace for all our employees.” – Mark Petroff, CEO of OneMagnify, a sponsor of our Equity Challenge
