Community Baby Shower

  • Jun 01 – 30
  • Virtual

  • Every year, families across Southeastern Michigan face a basic but urgent challenge: accessing essential supplies for their babies. In the first year of life, a baby typically goes through 2,500–3,000 diapers, and today that cost often exceeds $1,000 per child—even when families choose lower-cost brands. For far too many parents, especially those already stretched by rising housing, food, and healthcare costs, diapers remain an essential they simply cannot afford.

This June, we’re rallying together to change that. Our goal is to collect 2,000 new baby essentials by June 30. Help us meet our goal!

We’re supporting The Corner Health Center in Ypsilanti and Catholic Charities of Southeastern Michigan La Casa Amiga in Pontiac, two community-based organizations working directly with families experiencing hardship. From judgment free healthcare and wellness services for young people to culturally responsive support services—including basic needs assistance and family support—these organizations are trusted lifelines for families navigating crisis and transition.
