The Summer Discovery application will be completed and submitted using an electronic platform called Submittable. Submittable allows you to save your progress and fill out the application in more than one sitting; it is also possible for multiple people to collaborate on one application.
Please note: This year’s application has been shortened and simplified for all applicants, and returning grantees can skip questions for any program elements that remain unchanged from last year.

Apply Now
When you are ready to begin your Summer Discovery application, click APPLY NOW and create a Submittable account. If you have a Submittable account from Summer Discovery 2025, you may use the existing account. You will fill out a short eligibility form and, if eligible, proceed to the application questions.
If you plan to have multiple people collaborating on your application, the first person from your organization to create a Submittable account will be the Application Owner. We recommend making sure that this is the main point of contact for your organization’s application.
Applications are accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis. The earlier you apply, the earlier you will receive an award decision. Apply by November 7, 2025 to secure your award by December! The final application deadline is January 30, 2026.
If you need technical support, please visit this Submittable Help page and click “Email Support for Technical Help.”
