Acerca de Run United

El equipo Run United de United Way for Southeastern Michigan es un grupo de corredores, caminantes y ciclistas que se ponen en marcha para mejorar sus comunidades.

Together, we’ve raised more than $1.1 million to support youth opportunity in Southeastern Michigan over the past decade, aiding students’ success in and out of the classroom, all while staying physically active with friends and colleagues.

Run United participants have made an incredible impact in our community. We’ve provided local students with laptops and other technology as part of our work to close the digital divide, allowed students to grow their home libraries through Scholastic book fairs and helped students be prepared for the first day of school with backpacks and school supplies.

In 2025, Run United enabled 150+ teachers to purchase STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) supplies for their classrooms, empowering them to choose tailored supplies that fit their lesson plans and serve their students.

In 2026, the Run United Virtual Marathon seeks to support an additional 200 teachers with classroom funding. Every dollar raised means more classrooms, and students, can benefit from these resources.
