Posee una maestr\u00eda en Trabajo Social Macro de la Universidad Estatal de M\u00edchigan y, antes de incorporarse a United Way, trabaj\u00f3 en el Instituto de Salud P\u00fablica de M\u00edchigan, donde se dedic\u00f3 a tender puentes entre los sectores de la atenci\u00f3n cl\u00ednica y la asistencia social.\r\n\r\nHa dirigido numerosos proyectos financiados por el gobierno federal y estatal destinados a aumentar la eficiencia a nivel de sistemas para impulsar resultados positivos en m\u00faltiples \u00e1mbitos de servicio, incluyendo la educaci\u00f3n infantil, los servicios p\u00fablicos, la atenci\u00f3n coordinada y otros.
