Start your summer right with Meet Up and Eat Up!
Our Meet Up and Eat Up program provides free meals to everyone 18 and younger. Don’t miss out on the activities on hand! Many sites offer games, sports and other activities for kids to take part in while they eat lunch.
With over 650 locations, Meet Up and Eat Up sites will be providing free, tasty meals for children 18 and younger, Monday through Friday, all summer long.
“These sites are a blessing for parents,” says Sara Gold, program director of the Healthy Kids initiative at United Way. “Each summer, our sites serve more than a million meals to children, and families can know that their kids are being watched over, active and well fed at the same time.”
Sites are safe and supervised, and are a resource for busy parents who want to make sure that their kids have nutritious meals to eat. Sites are located in schools, parks and libraries throughout Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties, and no sign up is required.
