Hazel Park Schools kick off Meet Up and Eat Up

Published on June 20, 2017 in

Families won’t access free summer meals for their children if they don’t know where to go, but Hazel Park Schools are making an impact. The district is helping spread the word by printing flyers and having a presence at community events. More meals were served in 2017 because of Hazel Park Schools’ meal site promotion.

They also hosted a kickoff event in June.

Hazel Park Schools are one of 15 Meet Up and Eat Up partners who received a grant from United Way in 2017 to help grow and promote their summer meal sites.
