Protect families' access to healthcare!

Tell Congress to fully fund Medicaid and Medicare for Michiganders.

Medicaid provides essential health services to more than 2.6 million Michiganders, including 1 million children. However, these essential benefits have come under attack. In May, the House passed a bill that would strip health care from approximately 8 million Americans over the next decade, including more than 700,000 Michiganders. If put into law, these proposals would create more red tape, strain Michigan hospitals, and increase co-pays.

In 2023, almost 10 million people reported that they rationed or skipped doses of medicine to save money. Medical bills are the number one cause of bankruptcy in the USA, accounting for more than half of all bankruptcies. That’s why we need to increase funding for programs that help people pay for the health care they need, rather than cutting these programs. Now is the time to join us in urging the Senate to protect Medicaid to ensure that no household in our community will be forced to forgo medicine or care.
